2013 National Bike Challenge Starts May 1st

The National Bike Challenge returns for 2013 bigger and better than ever.  The League of American Bicyclists are the presenters and organizers of this year's Challenge that is sponsored by the Kimberly-Clark Corporation.  The goal this year is to unite 50,000 people to bike 20 Million miles for fitness, recreation or transportation from May 1st through September 30th.  It's free to anyone who lives in the U.S., easy to join and Endomondo has made it simple to log your miles.  Join and ride solo, create a team or pedal for your workplace and start logging those miles to be eligible for great raffle prizes.

There are several options for entering your rides.  The easiest way is by GPS enabled smartphone using the Endomondo app.   It can also be done online when signed into your Endomondo account by importing workouts from a Garmin device, GPX, TCX and FIT files from another device/app or by clicking the "Log Miles" icon and entering your miles.  The Log Miles option allows you to save often-traveled routes such as commutes or errands to enter them easily.

Join the 2013 National Bike Challenge and get fit, have fun biking and become a part of a national online community.  Visit the Official Rules, the FAQ page or the the National Bike Challenge Manual for more information on this year's Challenge.  Follow @NatlBikeChallng on Twitter or "Like" on Facebook for updates, to share your ride pictures, ask questions or for any other Challenge-related items.
