The 2nd Annual Open Streets Minneapolis Returns Sunday, June 10th

Open Streets Minneapolis is a free event that takes place on one of Minneapolis' busiest streets.  From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lyndale Ave. S. From 22nd Street to 42nd Street will be free of motorized traffic allowing only cyclists, skaters and pedestrians on this busy section of road.

An initiative of the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition, this is an opportunity to enjoy one of Minneapolis' great neighborhoods to participate in social activity, shopping supporting local businesses and planned activities all along the route without the presence of motorized vehicles.

Many activities are planned throughout the day.  For a list and map click here.  If you would like to help out and volunteer for Open Streets Minneapolis you can sign up online.
